Timothy Kline began working in forestry before he really was old enough to realize it. His father ran his own forest management company, and as a young boy, Kline would go out into the woods with him and help him mark trees. While we were out there, he would describe different species of trees, what they were used for, and I really grew to enjoy it, he said. I was pretty convinced at a young age it was for me.

After graduating from Auburn, Kline went to work with his father (who is now retired) at Kline Forestry Services, consulting with private landowners and managing their timberland. I especially love to help landowners with burning as it cleans up a property so well and fertilizes the trees, he said. I also really enjoy wildlife enhancements too. Weve started seeing a lot of native bird species coming back we havent seen in a long time, and thats because of the burning.

While hes based in Eufaula, Kline works with landowners all over southeast Alabama and southwest Georgia and even into southeast Mississippi.
