To make available technical, financial and educational resources that ensure the conservation of and wise use of soil, water and related natural resources for the benefit of ALL Mobile County residents.
The Mobile County Conservation District works in concert with the State of Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Commission to protect and improve soil, water and related natural resources for Alabama.
Our District is governed by a Board of Supervisors who are all landowners in Mobile County. Each member is appointed and approved through the State of Alabama Soil and Water Conservation Committee. Supervisors serve strictly on a volunteer basis. No compensation is provided for their services.
